The Blue Wyvern

This blue wyvern is adaptation of an illumination from BL Harley1662 f.104. It’s created using traditional methods and materials, with 24 carat gold leaf on gesso, hand made shell gold and traditional pigments including lapis lazuli. This piece is double mounted to conservation standards, but not framed. Image size 9.6 x 7cm, mount size 28 x 25cm.
